Epirus, Meteora

1^st Day

Morning departure from Athens to to Epirus via Rio - Antirio we pass Mesologgi and we arrive at Preveza, Pilgrimage to the Monastery of Prophet Elias.

On route to Ioannina we will visit the Wax Museum of P. Vrelis where a great artist reconstructs with a wonderful way the course of modern Greece.Afternoon arrival in Ioannina, check in at hotel and overnight stay.

2^ndDay

Morning departure to visit the War Museum in KaIpaki. Pilgrimage to the Monastery of Panagia Molivdoskepasti located in Mpoyrazani.Continue to the famous Zagori, Byzantine monasteries, gorges, bridges, a diverse landscape, ideal for creating harmonious relationship between man and nature.

At the village Kipoi will visit the arched bridge and Folklore Museum AGAPIOU TOLI, an exceptional collector keeps alive the legacy of the famous Zagori which coming from a bygone era.

We'll get in Monodendri, one of the most beautiful villages with traditional stone houses and cobbled streets. The walk up the gorge of Vikos at the Monastery of St. Paraskevi will be a unique experience.

3^rdDay

At the scenic Castle we will cross the lake by boat and we will visit the famous island and the house of Ali Pasha.Pilgrimage to the Holy Monastery of St. Nicholas the philanthropist.Return and departure for the CAVE of Ioannina one of the most important in our country with impressive stalactites, stalagmites and small lakes.In the afternoon we will arrive in the picturesque Metsovo, check in at hotel and overnight stay.

4^th Day

Early in the morning we will view the sightseeing of picturesque Metsovo, we will visit the Folk Museum Averof and then we will depart for Meteora.One of the most extraordinary landscapes in the world with its impressive rocks, on top of which are hung the Monasteries of 14th century. We will visit the Great Meteor and the Monastery of St. Stephen. Arrival in Athens in the evening.
